AARP Maine is fighting to save you money on your electric bill. Join us in the fight for fair and reasonable electric rates.

There are several ways to get involved and we encourage you to sign up to receive our email and/or text updates on this important issue (see below). If you're interested in becoming a volunteer advocate with AARP Maine, please send an email to me@aarp.org or call (1) 866-554-5380. You can serve as a volunteer virtually or in person.

In the last few months, we have:
• Fought to keep CMP and Versant rate increases fair and reasonable.
• Held in-person workshops to help Mainers better understand their electric bills.
• Advocated on behalf of low-income Mainers to reduce costly subsidies to alternative energy providers.
