Person Reviewing Energy Bill at Home on a Laptop

Are you concerned with rising electricity costs here in Maine that are putting pressure on your electricity bill? Do you wish to learn more about how your bill is calculated, ways to lower it, and the overall electricity ecosystem in our state?

If so, we invite you to join AARP ME and representatives from the Office of the Public Advocate to discuss strategies you can use to lower your electricity bills, obtain the knowledge of choosing the right supplier, understand your usage, community solar, and what to do if you can't afford your bill!

This free in person presentation is open to all, and the OPA and AARP will be able to take your questions and concerns as it relates to your electricity bill.

We have two events scheduled in October: Click the link to register for an event near you below.

Presque Isle: October 14, 2:00PM. Register Here

Can't make it in person? Some of the most expensive contributors to your electric bill may surprise you. Often, it is the most mundane and easily overlooked everyday appliances-- including ovens, air conditioners, and dehumidifiers-- that cause the greatest billing increases. One change in
your daily life could mean a significant difference in your bill. Learn more about strategies online by visiting the OPA Website.
