Kathy Siggins of Mt. Airy has been leading an effort to find a cure for Alzheimer's through the sale of stamps she helped to create. This specialty stamp is being sold with a portion of its proceeds going to Alzheimer's research at NIH. Kathy's mission to end Alzheimer's has come a long way, but it's far from over. And you can help.
Do you enjoy the legislative process? How about working with and advocating for like-minded individuals? Well, AARP Maryland needs your help! We’re looking to recruit up to two volunteers for advocacy and outreach. The ideal candidate(s) would be able to commute to Annapolis when available and provide assistance during the legislative session and beyond. Candidates should be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 am to 1 pm (hours are negotiable). Mileage and parking expenses during the position's run will be reimbursable.
