In terrific news for family caregivers in Massachusetts, today, the Massachusetts Legislature enacted House Bill 3911, An Act Establishing the Caregiver Advise, Record, and Enable (CARE) Act!

This week, AARP Massachusetts State Director Mike Festa and Executive Council member and volunteer Bob Haynes are in Washington, D.C. for Lobby Day 2016, to advocate on behalf of Massachusetts AARP members and all older Americans on the crucial issues of family caregiving and Social Security.
Bill now heads to Governor Deval Patrick’s desk for signature into law.
