AARP Eye Center

Three of the Bay State’s cities and a nonprofit received AARP 2019 Community Challenge grants.
In Belchertown, grant funding will go toward the installation of directional signs on the Lake Wallace Sensory Trail, including a kiosk with information in braille.
The Division Street Alley project, in Chelsea, received funding to create a bike- and pedestrian-friendly corridor that will connect a library, a senior center, a bus stop and a grocery store.
Thanks to Challenge Grant funding, Boston will install new benches along the main streets of 20 communities.
And Lynn-based nonprofit Beyond Walls will create four small parks and public artwork for its annual art festival.
