AARP Holding Information Sessions on the New Health Law

AARP Minnesota is hosting a series of information sessions designed to help Minnesotans over the age of 50 better understand the new health care law.  Each fall, AARP holds sessions designed to help older workers plan for retirement.  This year those information sessions will include details on how the new health care law will impact them.

Starting October 1^st, Minnesota health care consumers can begin signing up online for affordable health insurance that covers all of the essentials.  The coverage will be available through MNsure, a new state-based marketplace that is the cornerstone of the new health care law.  One of the biggest beneficiaries of MNsure will be older workers and early retirees.
