Driver Safety

Drive smart and stay safe on the road! AARP Driver Safety, MN Toward Zero Deaths and MN Department of Transportation invite you to Traffic Safety Day.
December 4 to 8, 2023 is Older Driver Safety Awareness Week (ODSAW), a time to empower older adults to improve their safety on the nation’s roadways. This is important because – even though they are safe drivers overall – older drivers are more vulnerable to severe injury or even death when involved in a vehicle crash.
AARP Minnesota is seeking volunteer instructors for its Driver Safety program, which is offering virtual classes amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
As we head into the often- treacherous Minnesota winter, take steps now to stay safe on the roads with AARP Driver Safety.
