Looking for an easy way to have better health in the New Year? Then forget about taking drastic action and making massive changes. Having had your fill of holiday sweets may curb temptation for them now, but don’t give into the temptation of strict diets and massive exercise. Extremes will not deliver the better health that you are looking for.
Instead, focus on baby steps to better health. Small actions add up over time. If you make small changes that you can turn into a habit, you will incorporate better health as a lifestyle. This same time next year you won’t be wishing for better health, you will be enjoying better health!

Once again, AARP has teamed up with the St. Louis City Department of Health to offer you support through the “Small Changes for Better Health” program. This is a 10 week online program providing tips and activities to help you adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Starting on January 18th, this program offers encouragement and creative ways to incorporate exercise and healthier eating into your life. Each week you will receive a newsletter full of tips and ideas on how make small changes to improve your health. There is even a special section dedicated to people 50+.
Still not sure? Check this out…By the end of the program in 2015, 100% of the participants reported that they felt confident in their knowledge about physical activity and nutrition in order to make lifestyle changes.

Take your first baby step now and visit: Small Changes for Better Health. There you can register for FREE.
With each baby step, you’ll be stepping into better health and well-being.
