Gift Card Frauds and Scams: Town Hall with the U.S. Attorney's Office and FBI - LISTEN HERE

On June 30, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada, FBI Las Vegas Field Office, and AARP Nevada hosted an interactive telephone town hall and shared information about common gift card schemes and prevention tips.

During the town hall, Assistant U.S. Attorney Tony Lopez and FBI Supervisory Special Agent Neil Umphress discussed common scams popping up in Nevada, what to do if you are a victim of a gift card scam, why these types of scams are so prevalent and provided tips to protect you and your loved ones.
