AARP Eye Center
AARP is proud to announce the Nevada Ballet Theatre is bringing the classic love story of all ballets, Swan Lake, in a full-length production with orchestra. AARP members can get tickets with a special offer.
This Smith Center Premiere will be staged by the legendary Cynthia Gregory, whose definitive performance as Odette/Odile led her to be described as America's prima ballerina assoluta by Rudolph Nureyev. Ms. Gregory will be staging her greatest role on a new generation of dancers, making this engagement of Swan Lake the cultural event of the season. Set to Tchaikovsky's glorious score, this romantic fable of ill-fated love is a beautiful, atmospheric, moving experience, and a must-see for ballet aficionados and newcomers alike.
Prior to both performances, NBT will present Insights, an educational pre-performance discussion offering patrons an opportunity to further engage with the ballet, with special guests, multi-media presentations and more. Insights is free to all ticket holders and will take place in the Troesh Studio Theater, adjacent to Reynolds Hall, 45 minutes prior to curtain at 6:45 pm on Saturday and 1:15 pm on Sunday.
EXCLUSIVE AARP MEMBER OFFER: $20 Off VIP and A level seating; $15 Off B Level seating; and $10 of C Level seating. Code: BOOMER161. You can also order online here: http://bit.ly/2cGELDm
