AARP AARP States Nevada Scams & Fraud

AARP Fraud Network Teletown Hall on Tap for December 8

During the holiday season, reports of fraud, theft, and all sorts of scams aimed at taking advantage of people during a time of giving are numerous.

Despite this, fraud isn't solely a holiday issue. Fraud happens every day, all year long. Thieves, scammers, and crooks are out there looking to take advantage of our trusting nature.

To better educate and protect Nevadans, AARP Nevada and our special guests from the Nevada Office of Consumer Affairs and the Nevada Fight Fraud Taskforce, will hold a teletown hall to give useful and actionable tips on fighting fraud and how to avoid falling victim to impostor scams.  We’ll take your calls and questions on Thursday, December 8 from 4 PM to 5 PM PST.

To register for the program, sign up here.

This program is part of the AARP Fraud Watch Network.
