AARP Eye Center
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest free, volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation program and we’re recruiting volunteers in Nevada to assist in the 2017 tax season.
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is offered in conjunction with the IRS and all volunteers interested in preparing taxes will receive training on the latest tax preparation forms and software prior to working with taxpayers. Prior tax prep experience is not required.
Volunteers are needed for a broad range of roles from on-site greeters to administrative and technical positions. Speak another language? We have a great demand for bilingual speakers.
Sign up today to volunteer for AARP Foundation Tax-Aide or call 1-888-687-2277.
Tax-Aide focuses on serving low- to moderate-income residents over age 50, but anyone is welcome to make an appointment. Tax preparation and e-filing is completely free through this program.
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers make a difference in Nevada! More than 20,391 Nevadans were assisted this year by 225 AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers who helped at 30 sites across the state. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide was founded in 1968 by four AARP volunteers, and today more than 35,000 volunteers in every state serve at over 5,000 Tax-Aide sites from February 1 to April 15.
