Oklahoma Wildfire Disaster Resources

AARP OK is thinking of our friends, neighbors and AARP members in northwestern Oklahoma who have been impacted by the devastating wildfires. During times like this this, we either want to help or need some help.

IF YOU NEED HELP

• Individuals who have lost livestock or property are encouraged to safely assess their losses and get in touch with their local Farm Service Agency (FSA) office.
• A comprehensive document outlining applicable federal assistance programs can be found online here (courtesy of USDA).
• The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association has established a relief fund to help those in Beaver, Ellis, Harper, and Woodward counties. More information can be found at http://www.okcattlemen.org/

IF YOU WANT TO HELP

• Those interested in donating hay or trucking services should contact either the Harper County Extension Office at 580-735-2252 or Buffalo Feeders at 580-727-5530 .
