The public is invited to participate in the Oklahoma Broadband office's 10-stop statewide Oklahoma’s Digital Promise tour. The Oklahoma’s Digital Promise tour seeks to collect data that highlight areas where expanded broadband deployment will improve the lives of all Oklahomans. Feedback from communities is critical. The tour begins October 3 and continues through November 9 in 10 cities and towns.
- October 3 at 1 p.m. – Hobart
- October 5 at 1 p.m. – Muskogee
- October 11 at 6 p.m. – Krebs
- October 12 at 11 a.m. – Burns Flat
- October 17 at 1 p.m. – Atoka
- October 19 at 6 p.m. – Oklahoma City
- October 24 at 11 a.m. – Okarche
- October 25 at 1 p.m. – Duncan
- October 26 at noon – Watonga
- November 9 at 10a.m. – Ponca City
More than 800,000 Oklahomans currently lack access to dependable high-speed internet service. Residents, business owners, farmers and ranchers, leaders, members of tribal communities, and representatives for schools, hospitals, nonprofits, and other community organizations are encouraged to attend.
