AARP Attends Vanguard Retirement Fair

Recently – AARP Pennsylvania attended this year’s Vanguard Retirement Expo in Malvern. The Expo was designed to provide information and resources for the Vanguard employees who are planning for retirement and AARP was there to show those individuals all the Real Possibilities they have in their next stage of life. Over 1,000 Vanguard employees stopped by the AARP table to talk to staff and volunteers about a range of topics from member benefits, volunteer opportunities, health care, and important state advocacy issues.

Just as AARP was there over 50 years ago to help people adapt and imagine a “new life stage” called “retirement”— we are here today to help millions of people adapt to a Life Reimagined. Through Life Reimagined, individuals 50+ are better able to adapt to their changing world because AARP is committed to helping them discover possibilities, preparing them for the change they want, and turning their ideas into reality.

AARP appreciates the value of life experience and believes possibilities expand as you age which is why we attend such Fairs as the Vanguard Retirement Expo.

Overall, the event was a huge success and AARP was able to reach hundreds of Vanguard employees and is proud to give guidance to those who are entering retirement as their lives change and evolve, and stands ready to offer resources to those entering a new phase of life.
