Long-time AARP Rhode Island volunteer Ruth Thumbtzen of Newport will be honored, along with fellow Community Service Award winner Claudia Linhares of Tiverton and Outstanding Youth Volunteer award winner Jonathan Klinker of Tiverton, during a dinner and awards banquet on Tuesday, April 19, at OceanCliff in Newport.
