AARP Eye Center
In South Dakota, taking care of those we love comes naturally. More than 84,000 South Dakotans are currently serving as family caregivers to their loved ones and studies show that if you aren't a caregiver now you will either be one or need one someday. This silent army is taking on tasks like bathing and dressing, managing finances and transportation and even performing complicated medical tasks all so their loved ones can remain in their homes and communities - where they want to be.
When you are a family caregiver, you’re always skating on thin ice.
That's why AARP South Dakota is teaming up with the Rapid City Rush to celebrate and support the amazing family caregivers in our community! Join the fun at the Rush game on February, February 24th. Guests will be treated to premium seats, a voucher for concessions, giveaways from both AARP SD and the Rush AND a meet and greet with Rush players after the game! Plus, get more information about the resources available to family caregivers and how you can Prepare to Care.
You do not need to be a family caregiver to join us in celebrating the contribution these individuals make to our families and communities. You can purchase tickets* by calling the Rush Office at 605-716-7825, Monday – Friday 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. and mentioning the promo code “BLACK HILLS CARES”.
