AARP Eye Center
The devastating natural disasters that have made national news this year serve as a reminder to people of all ages that we must take action to prepare for emergencies that could affect us where we live, work or visit.
September is National Preparedness Month and AARP is working with FEMA to share resources that can help you build a kit, make a plan and be information about disasters in your area and across the country– before they happen!
Join AARP Oklahoma state director, Sean Voskuhl and AARP Wisconsin state director, Sam Wilson as they discuss the latest FEMA guidance and technology that can help you be prepared when disaster strikes. You can watch the show live on RFD-TV or online at aarp.org/aarplive.
We want YOU to join the conversation! We’ll take your calls live as you share how you and your family prepare for the worth. Plus the first nine callers will have a chance to win a fully stocked disaster prep kit! Rules apply. During the show call 1-877-283-7570 for your chance to win.
