AARP VI Celebrated the 90th Anniversary of Social Security, and Wow! YOU Sure Know How to Party!

AARP VI State Director, Troy De Chabert-Schuster and Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett had a wonderful time at the 90th Anniversary Celebration of Social Security on St. John!

Guests of the 90th Anniversary Celebration of Social Security signed the very special birthday card on St. John.

St. John partied like "they EARNED it!"

St. Thomas celebrated with a soca block party, and the celebration went late into the night!

*Editor's Note: the Family Fun Day planned for St. Croix was canceled due to severe storm predictions. "It was more important for everyone to stay safe, dry, and continue their storm preparations, than to ask our community to leave their homes. Luckily, Hurricane Erin gusted by with only a little wind and rain, but better to be safe than sorry," stated AARP VI Associate State Director of Communicaitons and Outreach, Becca Hughson.
