Bring a Friend & Volunteer at AARP Day at the Ballpark

Baseball stadium during game, aerial view

Would you like to be part of the excitement at AARP Day at the Mariners on Wednesday, July 23? Join us for another fantastic event at T-Mobile Park as the Mariners take on the Milwaukee Brewers!

Last year, around 1,500 AARP members and their families came together for a day of fun at the ballpark. And this year, with your help, we know we can make this event even bigger!

Volunteering includes lunch, and a game ticket, and reimbursement for parking and mileage (carpooling encouraged!). Please arrive at 10:15am to enter the stadium together through security. Help us welcome guests, engage with participants at our AARP Washington table, and direct attendees to lunch on the Terrace Club Patio. Connecting with such a large audience allows us to showcase our presence and share valuable resources with the community. Then we can sit back and enjoy the action!

Have a friend who loves giving back to their community? Bring them along to volunteer with you! The more, the merrier! Double the fun by sharing the experience with someone you know. Whether it’s a family member, a neighbor, or a fellow baseball fan, inviting a friend is a great way to make the day more enjoyable while also strengthening our incredible volunteer community.

Please consider helping us grow a team of dedicated volunteers who make events like this possible. The connections we build at events like AARP Day at the Ballpark don’t just last for a day—they help create a welcoming network of people who are passionate about giving back, having fun, and supporting their community. Plus, volunteering together is a great way to introduce new people to AARP’s mission and the rewarding opportunities we offer.

Please join us, spread the word, invite a friend, and help us knock this year’s event out of the park! If you would like to volunteer, email James D'Amanda at jdamanda@aarp.org
