Health, wealth and self are the main subjects of AARP Washington’s new podcasts, available online and on popular program platforms.

Designed to help members live their best lives after 50, the podcasts are hosted by AARP’s Bruce Carlson, who interviews experts on finance, happiness, health and relationships, as well as elected officials on issues important to Washingtonians.

Listeners will also hear from AARP’s Doug Shadel and other fraud experts, who share the latest information on cybercrime, identity theft and scams.

In addition, the series features AARP’s telephone town halls and live events such as the popular “Sorting Fact From Fiction” series.

Ranging from 20 to 90 minutes, popular episodes include “Being Happier,” with Gretchen Rubin; “The Good News About Aging,” with Laura Carstensen; “Inside the Dark Web and Identity Theft,” with “internet godfather” Brett Johnson; and “Protect Your Money Now,” with Jean Chatzky.

The podcasts also cover lighter topics, such as martial arts legend Bruce Lee’s years in Seattle, meditation and rescuing senior dogs.

Find these episodes and subscribe to new ones by visiting aarp.org/WAPodcast or by searching for AARP Washington State Podcast on Apple, Google, Spotify, Pandora and Amazon podcast platforms.
