Household budgeting, staying out of debt, saving for college, planning for retirement—Americans face financial challenges at every stage of life.
AARP West Virginia is helping Mountain Staters navigate fiscal waters by hosting local events during Money Smart Week for the eighth year in a row. Organized by the Federal Reserve Bank, the multistate campaign promotes financial literacy nationwide, April 22-29. Local businesses, financial institutions, libraries, nonprofit organizations and government agencies get involved in providing financial education presentations and workshops.
AARP West Virginia is sponsoring a Consumer University event April 27 at the Four Points by Sheraton in Charleston.
