These grants fund quick-action projects that help communities become more livable by improving public places, transportation, housing, digital connections, and more.

Today, in Wisconsin more than a million people over 65 and individuals with disabilities are covered by Medicare for their health care.
Across the country, millions of people are at risk of running out of savings after they retire, and Social Security alone isn’t enough to live on. In Wisconsin, the average benefits for a 65+ family is only about $20,000 per year, while older families on average spend $22,000 a year on food, utilities and health care alone.
Two elections are coming up in Wisconsin this year – a primary election on Tuesday, August 14 th and a general election on Tuesday, November 6 th. AARP WI recognizes that there are many issues important to Wisconsinites on the line, and we want you to be prepared to vote. We are educating and mobilizing voters across Wisconsin for what is sure to be a critical election.
