In Search of Scholar Athletes

Know a good kid? A high school junior or senior who excels in athletics, academics and community service?

AARP West Virginia is calling for nominations for the AARP Scholar Athlete of the Week. The program will recognize 14 students during football season this year on West Virginia MetroNews.

Nominees must have at least a 3.0 GPA at a public or private school, excel in an athletic program and be active in community service. To nominate a deserving student, go to wvmetronews.com/scholar-athlete-of-the-week.
