Financially Fit: Learn How to Make the Most of Your Money

AARP Arkansas is offering free financial literacy classes led by financial adviser Joe Chacko of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

Chacko will share information about 401(k) plans, ways to maximize your retirement by budgeting, Social Security, long-term care and other topics. Classes are limited to the first 50 people who register. Sessions coming up:

• Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. at the West Memphis Public Library, 500 E. Broadway Blvd., in West Memphis.
• Thursday, Oct. 5, from 12 p.m.–1:30 p.m., at the AARP state office, 1701 Centerview Dr., in Little Rock.

Register by visiting aarp.org/ar and searching for “Events.” Refreshments will be served, and the first 25 attendees to sign in at each session will receive a free financial planning workbook.
