It’s one of the toniest arts events in the South. And this year, AARP members can get a 20 percent discount on tickets to the 27th Annual Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, Oct. 19-27.
Held at the historic Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa, the event is the oldest nonfiction film festival in North America. It offers guests a chance to mingle with filmmakers and celebrities while viewing more than 100 international features and documentary shorts. The festival is easily navigable, with parties and screenings held within close walking distance of each other.
