Odessa Darrough Takes Helm as AARP State President


Odessa Darrough is the new volunteer state president for AARP Arkansas, advocating for the state’s more than 270,000 members.

Darrough, 74, is senior pastor of Bullock Temple CME Church in Little Rock. She’s a retired AT&T human resources manager and in retirement started a business focused on healthy aging. Darrough plans to focus on caregiver support, Social Security education, creating livable communities and expanding high-speed internet.
