Do you know a volunteer age 50+ who is using their skills and experience to make a significant difference in your community?

AARP state offices are seeking nominations for the AARP Andrus Award for Community Service. The association's most prestigious volunteer tribute recognizes outstanding individuals who are sharing their experience, talents and skills to enrich the lives of others.

The deadline for the California Andrus Awards for Community Service nominations is August 1st.

More About the Andrus Award

The purpose of the award is to recognize outstanding individuals who are making a powerful difference in their communities in ways that advance AARP’s mission, vision, and commitment to volunteer service and that inspire others to volunteer.

Note: Each state is working on their own nominate deadline. The established California deadline is August 1st, 2018.
