Join us for an enlightening conversation about work in America since June 19, 1865 with Dr. Thanayi Jackson, Professor of History at California Polytechnic State University; Vikita Poindexter, Founder & CEO of Poindexter Consulting Group; and David Crippens, Workforce Consultant. Our panel will discuss how Black Americans have navigated the American work culture - from slavery to board rooms.
Dr. Jackson will lead a conversation that connects the importance of Juneteenth with the labor movement. We’ll explore areas such as cotton field work, entrepreneurship, Black Wall Street, and resources to support multicultural business owners today.
