It’s an exciting time to be a Dodgers fan and AARP would like to meet up with you at Viva Los Dodgers, La Gran Fiesta, in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month to enjoy food, fun, great music, and festivities. This family-friendly pregame festival is held at the refurbished 76 station (near Lot 6) four hours prior to the home game (which starts at 6:10 p.m.), where fans can enjoy live music, players’ autographs, and other fun activities. AARP has even arranged discounted ticket prices for members and their guests!
Viva Los Dodgers is a season-long series of events celebrating Latino culture in Los Angeles and the legacy of past and present Latino Dodgers. La Gran Fiesta is the culmination of the series and a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month featuring music, comedy, players and celebrities’ autographs, games, and more in a family-friendly atmosphere. Check out performances by El Conjunto Nueva Ola, DJ Scoop Deville, Cava, and Trio Ellas. Fans can also catch interviews with Spanish broadcasters Jaime Jarrin, Pepe Yniguez, and one of our favorite former Dodgers, Fernando Valenzuela. Bring your family and friends for an afternoon of fun!
While you’re there, make sure to stop by the AARP booth to have your photo taken with fun props, including the flag of your Latin-American country in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Pick up AARP giveaways and information and hear about exciting things AARP is doing to help Angelenos 50+ live life to the fullest!
The event is free for ticketed fans attending Saturday’s game. Tickets must be presented for admission. We hope to see you there!
