AARP, a proud partner of the 16th Annual San Diego Asian Film Festival (SDAFF) invites you and a guest to a private reception and film screening of LORNA, a Filipino romantic comedy on Friday, November 6 at the Mission Valley UltraStar Cinemas.
LORNA is a romantic comedy about a woman in her 60s who is on the dating scene, looking for the perfect love. Lorna has men in her midst: the ex-husband, the smooth-talker, the overseas boyfriend, and the rock star with a stoned smile. Love should come easy, but as Lorna quickly learns, it doesn’t always get easier with age.
Come network with other AARP members and community leaders, including special guest General Taguba and one of the stars of LORNA, Maria Isabel Lopez, who will be participating in the private reception before the screening.
