Join Us For Denver City Council Candidate Forms

AARP Colorado is hosting the AARP 2019 Denver City Council Candidate Forums through the month of April.

Join us for candidate forums in five council district races – Districts 1, 3, 8, 9 and 10 – to help make our city livable for all ages and help you learn where the candidates running for office in your district stand on the issues of affordable housing, transportation and community services.

Space is limited and registration is required. Call 1-877-926-8300 to register.

The first forum will be in Denver City Council District 1 on Tuesday, April 2 , 1-2 p.m., at the Woodbury Branch Library, 3265 Federal Blvd.

The candidate forum for Denver City Council District 3 will be Thursday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Denver Indian Center, 4407 Morrison Road.

The Denver City Council District 8 forum will be Friday, April 12, 1:30-2:30 p.m., in the community room of the Denver Police Department station at 3921 Holly St. (This forum coincides with the monthly meeting of the AARP Queen City Chapter, who is co-sponsoring this forum.)

The candidate forum for Denver City Council District 9 will be Tuesday, April 9, 1-2 p.m., in the community room of the Denver Public Library Blair-Caldwell Branch, 2401 Welton St.

The Denver City Council District 10 forum will be Friday, April 5, 1-2 p.m., in the community room of the Denver Public Library Cherry Creek Branch, 305 Milwaukee St.
