Destination Health, A 5K Walk, Run & Health Expo

AARP would like you to know of an event July, 27.  Destination Health offers two beautiful courses that will take you through Denver's City Park. Runners and walkers choosing the 5K route will be timed and those interested in taking a shorter route are invited to enjoy the one mile option.

Who is The Center for African American Health?  The Center for African American Health is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the African-American community. The Center partners with a wide variety of health-education and health-delivery organizations to develop and provide culturally appropriate disease prevention and disease management programs to thousands of African Americans each year. We offer programs on diabetes, cardiovascular disease, breast cancer, prostate cancer, and colon cancer, as well as a wellness program for seniors, and health literacy training.
