Join energy and educational powerhouse Kristin Burgess, R.D., for valuable nutrition tips on heart health and increasing your energy!  Nutrition is directly related to your energy levels throughout the day.  Not just what you eat, but when you eat and the combinations of foods you choose to eat directly effect certain chemicals in your body that regulate your energy levels. What is even more interesting is that eating to improve energy levels, can also effect heart health. Join us for lunch, complimentary chair massage and helpful tips from Guest Speakers Brian Bowlen, CMT, LAc, Acupuncturist, and Dr. Bruce Kamins, chiropractor, of Integrative Health.  Find out how it all works and how to know what service may be best for you.  Brian and Dr. Kamins will educate about the health benefits of acupuncture and chiropractic, alternative lifestyle medicines, postural alignment and more.   Brian is a Nationally Certified Acupuncturist, certified by the Egoscue Method, as a Postural Alignment Speicalist.  He also created Restorative Structural Therapy.   Dr. Kamin's techniques include diversified adjusting, flexion-distraction, spinal decompression, laser therapy, activator, physiotherapy and exercise rehabilitation.

What is diabetes?  How can you prevent it now? How can you best manage your diabetes?

Speaker: a Certified Diabetes Educator from the American Diabetes Association.  Lunch served.

Join us for a special event from the American Heart Association.  They will discuss tips to improve heart health, prevent heart attack (#1 killer of women and men), prevent stroke and reduce hypertension.  They also have healthy cooking recipes to share and tips for reducing sodium and cholesterol in your diet.  Lunch served.

Physical therapists (PTs) are highly-educated doctors that are licensed health care professionals who can help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility - in many cases without expensive surgery and often reducing the need for long-term use of prescription medications and their side effects.  PTs work with you to prevent and restore the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles.  Join Dr. Doug Goldstein of Physiotherapy Associates who will show how to prevent, manage and improve you condition so that you will achieve long-term health benefits.  Lunch served.
