AARP Eye Center
Join AARP Colorado's advocacy team this month and learn more about state and federal issues impacting AARP members, as well as the state as a whole.
As part of the tour, You’ve Earned a Say, a national discussion about the future of Medicare and Social Security, will be presented at all stops. Detailed YEAS presentations will be held in Aurora and Fruita, Colo. (See full schedule below.)
Too many politicians in Washington, D.C., aren’t listening.
Some politicians say the answer to the challenges facing Medicare is to cut benefits or force seniors to pay more. They also are pushing for a budget deal that will cut Social Security to reduce the deficit.
AARP believes there’s a better way. Join us for a discussion about how to find responsible, commonsense solutions that will secure Medicare for future generations and how to prevent harmful cuts to Social Security, so we can keep the promises we’ve made to seniors. Share your ideas and have a say about the future of programs that matter to you and your family.
AARP Colorado staff and advocates also will lead discussions about local issues, including utilities, health care and retirement security.
