Latinas Honoring Latinas

Latina Safehouse is hosting an event Oct. 20, 2017 to honor individuals and organizations that have supported the Safehouse and to raise the financial resources needed to continue programs and services.

AARP is a sponsor of this event because Latina Safehouse provides support for hundreds of women in our community.

Latinas Honoring Latinas will be at 6 p.m. on Friday Oct. 20 at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, 2001 Colorado Blvd. Learn more.

Latina Safehouse has provided support for hundreds of women.  By entering into agreements with other facilities to provide for emergency housing, individual counseling, ESL classes, legal referrals and assistance with civil and immigration issues to women and families suffering domestic violence, the Safehouse has fulfilled its commitment to victims of domestic violence.

The need for programs, services and assistance for victims of domestic violence has only increased with the years.  Your sponsorship for this event will ensure the support needed to continue services.

Of the funds raised, 90 percent will be used to support programs and services.  Thank you for your compassionate contribution for victims of domestic violence.
