Save the date for Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 2 and 3 for this exciting summer institute and summit set to take place at the CSU-Pueblo-Occhiato Student Center Ballroom
CLLARO, the Colorado Latino Leadership, Advocacy and Research Organization*, announced the 3rd Annual Aztlán Research Center Summer Institute and 1st CLLARO Latino Action Council Summit to be held in August.
This year, the Aztlán Research Center is teaming up with the CLLARO to expand this two-day event that will explore the indigenous roots of Southern Colorado on day one, including a keynote address by former New Mexico State Historian Dr. Estevan Rael Gálvez.
Day two will focus on the future ahead with a discussion of Latino civic engagement and economic mobility in Colorado and will facilitate discussion and consensus leading to a research and advocacy agenda to elevate Colorado communities.
