AARP Connecticut and The Greater Bridgeport Latino Network will host a free candidate forum between Connecticut’s 22nd District State Senate seat candidates Marilyn Moore (Democrat – incumbent) and challenger Elaine Hammers (Republican) at the Bridgeport Public Library on Thursday, Oct. 27.
The event – beginning at 5:45 p.m. at the north branch of the library – will feature both candidates discussing their positions and taking questions from the moderator. In addition, Moore and Hammers will answer questions submitted in writing by attendees of the forum.
The Greater Bridgeport Latino Network will also offer attendees a non-partisan voter registration opportunity.
