AARP Florida Celebrates Allison Chavez for Recognition in Ragan's Top Women in Communications Awards, Class of 2024

TALLAHASSEE, Florida AARP Florida proudly announces the recognition of Allison Chavez, Associate State Director of Communications, as one of the ”Rising Stars” in Ragan's Top Women in Communications Awards, Class of 2024.

Ragan's Top Women in Communications Awards is a prestigious program that recognizes and honors the outstanding achievements of women in the communications industry. Chavez has been selected for her exceptional contributions, leadership, and innovative approaches, making her a deserving recipient of this esteemed recognition.

"Allison Chavez is, indeed, a rising star in Florida communications, and AARP Florida is glad to see her recognized as such," said Jeff Johnson, State Director for AARP Florida. "This honor is a testament to her outstanding professionalism and impact on behalf of Floridians 50+ through her work with AARP."

Chavez celebrated alongside other accomplished women on February 29 in New York City during the Top Women in Communications Awards Luncheon. This event brought together industry leaders to acknowledge and celebrate the accomplishments of the honorees.
