AARP Florida plays pickleball with pros at the 2024 APP Miami Open

AARP is excited to offer you a chance to play and learn the popular sport of pickleball from pro athletes and coaches during the upcoming APP Miami Open! Enjoy professional instruction and game play guided by top Pro player Andrei Daescu, as well as APP Tour Champions and Masters professionals.

AARP knows that being active and having social connections is important for mental well-being and overall health and happiness as we age. Pickleball supports a physically and socially active lifestyle, and AARP is excited to shine a brighter light on people 50 and over who play at any level. Their stories inspire, educate and encourage people to play, have fun and make new friends, helping them make their health and happiness last as long as they do.

The Miami Open clinic will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM ET at the Miami Beach Convention Center, located at 1901 Convention Center Dr., Miami Beach, FL 33139. The clinic will consist of a 90-minute on-court guided session with APP Tour professionals and will focus on basic technique, skills building, and game play. Participants will be grouped with those who closely match their skill level and entry is free!
