Postcard Parties: Pizza & Postcards

It’s a promise that’s been kept for generations. You pay into Social Security, you get the benefits you earned. But to keep that promise for future generations, Social Security needs to be updated for the 21st century. If our leaders don’t act, future retirees could lose up to $10,000 a year.

With the nation’s highest percentage of residents age 65-plus, Florida has a huge stake in the future of Social Security. More than 4.2 million Floridians receive Social Security benefits and without these benefits, 46 percent of the state’s 65-plus population would have incomes below the poverty line.

Would you like to make a difference? Join our Take a Stand staff and volunteers for Postcard Parties: Pizza & Postcards in St. Petersburg, Orlando or Miami. We’ll be writing postcards all while getting to know one another, and best of all, eating pizza!
