For 90 years, Social Security has been a promise kept to generations of hardworking Americans. Recently, AARP joined communities across the country to celebrate that legacy, while rallying public support to protect its future.
Nine entities in Georgia received 2025 AARP Community Challenge grants, ranging from $2,000 to $25,000 and totaling nearly $110,000. Projects focus on disaster preparedness, home safety, internet access and digital literacy.
Come see what AARP has to offer at the 2018 Dogwood Festival, starting on April 13. Our Block Party has fun and surprises for everyone that you won’t want to miss!
AARP has long been recognized as a powerful national organization, but our continued success depends on being relevant and responsive to local communities.
Last year we had a blast at the Dogwood Festival. We look forward to seeing you all again this year on April 13th-April 15th for even more fun at the AARP Georgia Block Party!
