AARP’s Prepare to Care Workshop is designed to give current and future caregivers an opportunity to learn more about what this critical role entails.

More than 1.3 million Georgians care for older parents, spouses, children and adults with disabilities, or other loved ones, helping them to live independently in their homes and communities, where they want to be.

Following the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) new rule proposal intended to help consumers get investment advice in their best interest, AARP today previewed upcoming testimony for a SEC Investor Advisory Committee (IAC) meeting later this week in Atlanta, Ga.

You've worked hard to save enough to enjoy your retirement. But a loophole in the rules makes it legal for some bad financial advisers to tell you where you should put YOUR money based on what's best for THEIR pocketbooks, not yours.
