AARP ILLINOIS SUPPORTS THE BETTER GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION (BGA) ELECTION 2016: CANDIDATES, CHAOS, AND CONSEQUENCES LUNCHEON

AARP Illinois was a proud supporter of the Better Government Association (BGA) 2016 Springfield Luncheon entitled Election 2016: Candidates, Chaos, and Consequences.

The Luncheon was held on Tuesday, September 27 ^th at the Doubletree by Hilton located at 701 East Adams in Springfield.  The event  featured Former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar, Chris Kennedy, former University of Illinois Chair and Special Guest: Springfield native Natalie Bomke, FOX 32 Chicago.

Election 2016: Candidates, Chaos, and Consequences  discussed this year’s fascinating yet troubling election season in addition to a conversation on the deeper context of Illinois’ election system and its effect on our state’s challenges and opportunities for election reform.
