AARP Iowa is hosting briefings this month to inform members about health care reform and possible changes to Medicare.

Federal legislation could lead to major changes in health care, and Iowans can learn at these meetings how to help ensure access to health care for everyone 50 and older. Experts will listen to members’ concerns and suggest ways to get involved in advocacy efforts, including contacting members of Congress and state leaders.

The meetings are set for Sioux City, June 14; Council Bluffs, June 15; Des Moines, June 21; Cedar Rapids, June 22; Waterloo, June 27; Dubuque, June 28; and Davenport, June 29. For details, go to aarp.org/ia or call 866-554-5378 toll-free.
