Is YOUR Community Livable for People of All Ages?

Kent at podium at DMU
Kent Sovern, State Director, AARP Iowa

By 2030, one in five adults in the U.S. will be 65-plus, and the vast majority of them will want to remain in their homes and
communities.

Join AARP for an interactive discussion on what affects your ability to live your best life in your community.  We’ll discuss how your  neighborhood can become more age-friendly by adopting such features as safe, walkable streets; better housing and transportation options; and access to key services.

Well-designed, livable communities promote health, sustain economic growth, and make for happier, healthier residents of all ages.  Please join us!
