"Missing Middle" Housing Expert Headlines 2016 Greater DSM Age-Friendly Report to the Community

All are invited to join AARP and volunteer and community leaders of the Greater Des Moines Age-Friendly Initiative for the fourth annual report to the community on Friday, Dec. 16th at Des Moines University, this year featuring special guest Daniel Parolek.

A national thought leader in architecture, design, and urban planning, specifically in terms of creating livable, sustainable communities and buildings that reinforce them, Mr. Parolek’s presentation will center on the concept of "Missing Middle Housing."

He’ll address how these types of developments are helping communities across the country help meet the growing demand for age-friendly housing and walkable urban living. Mr. Parolek's remarks 8:15-9 am.
