Another Proud Moment for Kentucky
We're proud to offer our sincerest congratulations Claude R. "Shug" McGaughey, III on capturing the 139th Kentucky Derby!
We know it takes teamwork and this is a proud Kentucky moment to have a Lexington native and a Kentucky-born thoroughbred claim the Kentucky Derby’s Garland of Roses. Even with the 19 horse field and slow track conditions, Joel Rosario and Orb delivered another impressive and exciting performance with their come from behind, 2 1/2-length victory.
