Community Conversation Tackles Vaccination Questions in Fayette County

Lexington-Fayette County Health Department with AARP Kentucky hosting a virtual, interactive community conversation open to all in Fayette County.

Lexington, Ky. - Lexington-Fayette County Health Department Commissioner of Health, Kraig Humbaugh, MD, MPH for an interactive community conversation on COVID-19 vaccines. Dr. Humbaugh will provide eligibility updates and answer residents COVID-19 questions and vaccine distribution phases. LFCHD estimates some 175,000 adults in Fayette County are eligible for vaccinations in phase 1C.

WHO:             Fayette County residents, Lexington-Fayette County Health Department Commissioner of Health Kraig Humbaugh, MD, MPH and local AARP volunteers in Lexington.

WHAT:          Special guest, Kraig Humbaugh MD, will take residents’ questions and discuss more on vaccination eligibility and scheduling in Fayette County. Residents may also submit questions in advance with completed registration.

WHERE:       Virtual Community Conversation via Zoom. Register online at aarp.org/Lexington or by phone 1-877-926-8300. Participants receive their Zoom link invite with their completed registration.

WHEN:          Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. EST.

WHY:             The special Community Conversation is providing an opportunity to ask questions, learn more on local resources, stimulate discussion to improve understanding vaccine eligibility, and the role of COVID-19 vaccines in preventing disease and improving public health.
