Nominate a Community Volunteer for AARP Andrus Award 2018

Make Time to Nominate an Outstanding Volunteer for the 2018 Andrus Award for Community Service

AARP Kentucky is seeking nominations for our 2018   Andrus Award for Community Service – AARP’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award for community service. The Andrus Award recognizes outstanding Kentuckians age 50-plus who are making a powerful difference in their communities in ways consistent with the AARP mission, vision, and commitment to volunteer service and are inspiring others to volunteer.

Nominations are open until June 1, 2018 for any Kentucky volunteer age 50 or older -  not just AARP volunteers.   AARP Kentucky will donate $2000 to an eligible Kentucky non-profit organization chosen by the state Andrus winner and $500 to non-profit organization chosen by the runner-up.

Nominations are simple and please see the eligibility requirements and selection criteria online. Nominating your volunteer is a terrific way to honor and recognize exceptional volunteer(s) in your life, home town, or organization. One key to a great nomination is in the details! The more you tell us, the more we'll know! Please include as much information about your volunteer nominee as possible.
